Starting the adventure a day early in Fort Lauderdale was a masterstroke. Under the sunny embrace of this beachside city, the iconic B Ocean Hotel set the scene. Though breakfast hours were a tad restrictive (only 7-9 AM in the dining room), the ocean view buffet made up for it with its widespread—though it's best to get there early to avoid the crowd. From wow-inducing Le Petit and Tuscan specialty restaurants to the Mast's classic burgers, your taste buds are in for a treat. Evening drinks at the bar, surrounded by music, added a sweet serenade to every sunset. Rooms were comfortably apportioned.

Nassau greeted the cruise with its stunning aqua-blue waters despite the five ships in port. A delight and a gentle hustle all at once. It's a spot that truly thrives on its natural beauty amidst all the visitors.

Post-cruise, while waiting for an afternoon flight, a dynamic food tour was just the ticket. Starting from the historic Riverside Hotel, it wove a delicious tapestry from Southern comfort foods to innovative local delicacies.
